About Uppymama

Woven with Heart. Carried with Love.

Uppymama was born from one mama’s desire to keep her baby close — not just for convenience, but for connection, intuition, and love. What started with Becky, a doula and mother passionate about babywearing and gentle parenting, has grown into a heartfelt movement rooted in attachment, artistry, and community.

Based in Alberta, Canada, we hand-weave, hand-finish, and handcraft every babywearing wrap with deep care and intention. Each piece is a functional work of art — designed to hold your baby close while supporting your journey as a parent.

We believe that babywearing is more than just a practical tool — it’s a way of life. It’s skin-to-skin bonding. It’s responsive parenting. It’s love made visible.

Our Values

🧶 Artisan Craftsmanship
Each wrap is lovingly handwoven by skilled artisans using traditional techniques and ethically sourced fibres. We honour the beauty of slow, intentional making.

💛 Attachment & Intuition
We believe parenting is a deeply instinctive process. Our wraps help you tune into your baby’s needs — with closeness, comfort, and presence.

🌎 Community & Impact
We see babywearing as a ripple effect — one that strengthens not only the family unit, but the community and culture surrounding it.

Our Mission

At Uppymama, we create artisan babywearing wraps that support intuitive parenting and celebrate the deep, meaningful connection between parent and child. We are committed to nurturing families, one wrap at a time.

Our Why

We’ve seen firsthand the transformation that happens when a baby is held close — not just soothed or comforted, but known and understood. We believe that babywearing has the power to change lives, reshape parenting norms, and inspire future generations of connected, compassionate humans.

Whether you're wrapping your first newborn or your last toddler, we’re honoured to be part of your journey.

Handwoven. Hand-finished. Heart-centered.
