Transform your Uppy!

We love the versatility of a wrap but recognize that some people love ties and buckles and we always think it’s so neat to see someone take one of our wraps and transform it into a more structured carrier! Like when Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother turns the pumpkin into a coach! (Ok our wraps aren’t quite pumpkins but you get the point!) One of our favourite converters is Metamorphosis Creations because she loves our wraps and is so experienced at sewing them!

Shannon at Metamorphosis has offered special slots for Uppymama wraps to be converted for a long time but we got together and thought it was time to make it official. So on the first of each month we’ll be posting a draw for two conversion slots with Metamorphosis specially reserved for Uppymama wraps! Any Uppymama wraps will work, whether they are handwoven draw wins right from Uppy, Uppywear or a well-loved Uppymama wrap bunched up on the floor of your car. (After a spin through the laundry anyway!)  So even if you are not into wraps or ring slings or just like a little versatility in your babywearing stash you can still have the beautiful look of our fabric with the convenience of a mei-tai or a soft structured carrier.

Draws will be posted at the beginning of each month and winners drawn on the last day of the month. Winners will be notified by Uppy and will then work directly with Metamorphosis on their conversions.

Details:

• The cost is $300 flat rate for a custom conversion slot including your choices of hood, straps, body size, and waist styles (appliqué and embroidery are not included)
• Your carrier will be complete within 4 weeks of the wrap arriving to Metamorphosis
