Welcome to Uppymama’s website. By using this website, you are agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions of use. The term “Uppymama,” “us” or “we” refers to Uppymama. The term “you” refers to the user of this website. The use of www.uppymama.com and all of its sub-domains is subject to the following terms of use:

  • Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
  • From time to time this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

Privacy Policy

Here at Uppymama, your trust is important to us and will be respected during every transaction. We are committed to protecting your online privacy; we do not sell or give away personal information. Your name, address, phone number, email address and payment information will be gathered with the sole purpose of processing your order and/or contacting you regarding your order.

Shop Terms

Returns and Refunds

We ask that you please consider booking a babywearing consultation or exchanging for another style of carrier before you give up and return your Uppymama babywearing carrier. All carriers returned to Uppymama MUST BE IN NEW CONDITION with all original packaging. Returns must be received by Uppymama within 30 days of original shipping date.

The original cost of shipping will not be refunded. Your refund will be processed as quickly as possible.

Repairs

Due to the handmade, artisan nature of Uppymama and UppyWear wraps, occasionally a carrier may arrive to you with an area of inconsistency.

If a wrap you purchased directly from Uppymama has an inconsistency, please contact us so we can attempt to assess your concerns within 30 days of the shipping date.  Photos my be requested to help us determine the reason for an inconsistency.  We will pay for shipping and repairs, and send it back to you as quickly as possible.

Uppymama can also repair a wrap that has been damaged (more than 30 days after purchase, or if you are not the original owner), however the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Shipping

All orders of carriers in stock may take up to 10 business days to process and ship. Shipping is done via Canada Post, and your purchase will be insured to its full retail value. Any customs fees or taxes are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Local pick up may be possible and can be arranged when an order is completed.

Draw Terms

Participating in the Draw

If you submit to a draw and you are selected, you will be deemed a winner of the draw to purchase. You agree that you will pay the purchase price for the Uppymama wrap or sling that you submitted your entry for.

Payment

Payment must be made within 3 days of being invoiced, and must be made via PayPal.

Customs Terms

Designing and approving your wrap

A member of the UppyTeam will work with you to confirm:

  • Pattern or design
  • Thread colour preference, including fiber type
  • Length in meters
  • Middle marker options
  • Shipping options and insurance quote
  • Total cost

If you choose to work with an inspirational image or idea during the design process, we will work with you to help translate that image into a wrap design.

Uppymama will provide pictures of our thread colors to help you plan your perfect colourway. While we do our best to ensure accurate colour, please be aware that slight colour variations are possible.

Once these details have been approved, you will be asked to provide confirmation of your choices to ensure there are no misunderstandings or further changes.

The UppyTeam strives to produce the wrap of your dreams. However, we cannot guarantee that every wrap will exactly match the customer’s specific vision. As with the creation of any handmade, artisan item, Uppymama must have some flexibility in order to create a safe and beautiful product to match your requests as best as possible.

Weaving your wrap

Once you have confirmed all of the options lists above, we can begin the process of weaving your wrap!

Uppymama will provide you with an expected completion date. Please keep in mind that this timeline may change due to factors beyond our control. We will contact once your wrap is ready to ship and provide an invoice at that time. Prices are subject to change without notice prior to invoicing. Wraps will be photographed and packaged, and will ship (with the shipping method and insurance coverage that you have requested) upon payment.

Uppymama reserves the right to determine the number of wraps that will be woven on your custom design.

Uppymama owns all wrap designs and wraps. We may sell or distribute pieces of your custom order that you do not purchase at our discretion. We may produce wraps in the future that are similar to your commissioned design. The distinction will be that no two Uppymamas are truly alike and the identifying number on each wrap tag.
