Big News!

When we first launched Uppywear, we wanted to make a wrap that was completely awesome.  We wanted it to be soft yet supportive, easy to learn with and most importantly we wanted it to be accessible to everyone who wanted to babywear!  We insisted on keeping the quality high and ensuring the fabric for the wraps could be milled in Canada and hand finished by our own textile team.  We were thrilled with the end product but not so much with the price.  We felt that it was still out of reach for many.

So with that in mind- we have some good news! With some recent shuffling around here at Uppy Headquarters we were able to crunch those numbers again (and boy, do some of us love number crunching!). We are now able to offer Uppywear at a much lower price point!  You will no longer have to worry about what to buy for your friend/cousin/sister-in-law/coworker who’s having a new baby!  It’s like an episode of Oprah around here- “You get Uppywear and you get Uppywear and YOU get Uppywear! Everybody gets Uppywear!”  We hope this will fulfill our original vision of having Uppywear be an affordable, accessible, entry-level baby carrier for new and seasoned babywearers alike.

We are so pleased that we were able to reduce our expenses without sacrificing any quality and we’re thrilled to be passing the savings on to you.  And if you thought the news couldn’t get any more exciting- we’ll have two new colours joining the family so stay tuned when we debut those for you tomorrow!
